Destination Paradise, based in Cornelia, Georgia, is a YouTube channel that posts inspirational and scenic landscape videos on a regular basis. One of this channel’s latest video posts is titled the ‘South Dakota 4K Relaxation Film | Mt. Rushmore Aerial Drone | Badlands National Park & Calming Music.’ It features stunning and scenic drone footage which captures the incredible scenery of South Dakota. The video allows viewers across the globe to discover the beauty of South Dakota, highlighting their most prominent tourist attractions and significant historical monuments as well.
This new drone film captures the audience’s attention within the first few minutes with its beautiful destinations and soothing music, which lasts for a little over half an hour (32 minutes, to be precise). Destination Paradise posted this video on March 19th of this year. These videos are considered relaxing videos not only because of the pleasing video content but also due to the calming music playing in the background. The video highlights the South Dakota landscape, an expansive, beautiful midwestern US state where the rolling prairies give way to the dramatic Black Hills National Forest. The Black Hills is home to two historical monuments carved right into towering granite peaks. One is Mount Rushmore, the iconic depiction of four revered US presidents, and the second is the Crazy Horse Memorial, a tribute to the revered Native American tribal leader.
Mount Rushmore is an American national memorial consisting essentially of four massive statues representing the faces of four presidents of the United States chosen for their emblematic sides. Each symbolizes a characteristic feature of the history of this country. The presidents immortalized on the side of the mountain are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. The monument was carved between 1927 and 1941 by Gutzon Borglum and completed by his son after his passing. The Crazy Horse Memorial is located in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills. The elevation on the Mountain is 6,532 feet above sea level, the 27th highest mountain in South Dakota. It is made of pegmatite granite and was chosen by the sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski and Lakota Chief Henry Standing Bear for the Crazy Horse Memorial.
The video also presents a magnificent aerial view of the Badlands National Park. The park’s dramatic landscapes span layered rock formations, steep canyons and towering spires. Bison, bighorn sheep and prairie dogs inhabit its sprawling grasslands. The Badlands Loop Road (Highway 240) also winds past scenic lookouts. There are several trails which begin near the Ben Reifel Visitor Center as well. The Fossil Exhibit Trail, another great attraction in South Dakota, is captured in the video, highlighting the boardwalk with displays on fossils uncovered in the park. The video also captures the beauty of Deadwood, the stunning Sioux Falls and a bird’s eye view of the Custer State Park in South Dakota. The latter is known for its towering granite peaks and rolling plains, as well as its clear mountain waters and open ranges. Encompassing 71,000 acres in the Black Hills, Custer State Park is home to abundant wildlife and adventure, with something to interest everyone.
Channel host and video creator Greg Webster remarks, “I absolutely love what I do. I get to post high-resolution drone videos that are shot in exotic locations around the world that are meant for nothing but pure enjoyment and relaxation. I think this no-strings-attached approach to the videos I post on YouTube is what’s helping my channel quickly rise in popularity.” These scenic relaxation videos are growing in popularity thanks to the stunning scenery and tranquil music as well.
Destination Paradise presents aerial footage from the United States and all over the world. The channel posts beautiful footage of many exotic places and is always accompanied by ambient music, ideal for relaxing. Webster assures his viewers that there are many more videos which will be published in the future.
